Many of you will have heard me state in your readings about an “explosive energy” doing the rounds. If you want to know just how spooky these statements turned out to be, then read further on for the shocking evidence! 

I was specific to state that many of the “explosive” events would be man-made, some by accident and others entirely deliberate. That there would also be natural earth activity of this nature as well as from space. That this may also include mass civil disobedience and rioting. 

It started with Putin’s invasion of Russia at the start of the year, murdering thousands of innocent Ukrainians and ensuring the deaths of many of his own young soldiers. You may also recall that he blew up the sea gas-lines. In October there was the mine in Turkey, tragically killing 44 people. 

Amongst other man-made explosions of course, who among us will forget the man (quite local to myself) who attempted to blow up the immigrants at Dover.

Sadly, on November 23rd, we saw a firecracker blast, injuring and killing bystanders during the Kartikeswar immersion ceremony in India. And of course, tragically, even more semi-automatic shooting sprees in the US. On the 4 of July I posted about knowing something explosive was pending and within minutes the news came in that there had been a mass shooting at a parade. 

There was also the incredibly sad of a mass shooting in a gay club and yet another where a disgruntled manager of a mall killed customers and then himself.

None of this gives me any pleasure to tell you. I also stated that there could be highly volatile things “from the sky”
as well as extreme or freaky weather, and whilst I write to you now, it appears weird thunder patterns are creating bomb-like light and explosions over large parts of London.

But worryingly other details such as solar flares or even meteorite activity, also became a reality - 
· There have been several massive solar flares this year, mainly around October and November (perhaps some of you recall me saying the final quarter of this year was going to go off like fireworks night!). Well turns out in one such incident, astronomers around the world were then captivated by an unusually bright and long-lasting pulse of high-energy radiation that swept over Earth. The emission came from a gamma-ray burst (GRB) – the most powerful class of explosions in the universe – that ranks among the most luminous events known.

Then (after one or two other random meteorite landings in November) a stunning fireball was detected in space. It soared over Ontario, Canada,
before it struck Earth.

· And in something even I admit sounds like a Hollywood blockbuster, this year it was revealed there is a huge ‘planet killer’ asteroid - and it’s heading our way. The asteroid, named 2022 AP7, was reported by researchers looking for space rocks within the orbits of Earth and Venus. To be honest, after the public predictions I made in 2019 about the “fires, floods, plagues and pestilence” that would befall all of us in a “two-year, mutating and repeating cycle” even aliens landing right now wouldn’t surprise me!
· Just to add to the drama, I did also state that some of the explosive action I envisaged, could be volcanic. And incredibly as I was writing this to you (19:00, 29/11/22) it has just been announced that shows lava spewing from world’s largest active volcano, Mauna Loa, in Hawaii...

I also predicted there would be a lot of extreme politics...
UK & worldwide. Well turned out that this was to be some of the most shocking news and also quite close to home, here in the UK. One of the things I mentioned was the return of the far right in many countries, which we have seen and this is going to continue for some time. The riots in Iran by women were also part of my prediction, but there were other riots and also a very sad accidental stampede in one country.

My UK predictions of “explosions and crashes” in parliament and the stock market also came to fruition as well as the return of the phrase “the winter of discontent”.

As I predicted, here in the UK we had three prime ministers, what’s worse is the specific detail I stated to some of you, that one female prime minister would come and go in less than the length of any pregnancy. And as a woman having to say that is both embarrassing and shocking! There are lots more I could list but it’s already quite depressing reading this lot. It’s been a very tough and dark time for many of you, but thank you to those of you who enjoyed a session of friendship, laughter and insights with me this year. By Spring things should start to get a little better, but do yourself a favour, keep yourself away from people who are sneezing and coughing, because there’s another virus on its way.

5 Tips for Protecting Yourself as an Empath
 

As an empath, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by your emotions and the emotions of others. Being an empath is an incredible thing, I often like to think of it as a superpower.

Being sensitive is a great strength and it allows you to understand others on a deeper level but with that sometimes comes grief. Feeling the emotions of others and feeling the urge to make others happy can be extremely tough and it doesn’t come without its challenges. That’s why it’s important to take care of yourself and take the appropriate precautions to protect yourself.

Give yourself time to recharge
 

The most important and crucial thing you can do to protect yourself as an empath is to give yourself time to recharge. The same way that you would give your body time to recharge after a workout at the gym, processing and dealing with a lot of different emotions is draining. Whether you decide to take five minutes by yourself or decide to have a day where you relax and limit contact, just take time for yourself.

Track your mood
 

Before you pass this one up, here’s why... When you have multiple bad days it’s easy to forget the good and you might feel as though you are always low. Make it a habit to make a note of how you have been feeling at the end of each day. This might help you to identify a pattern, such as feeling low on days when you see certain people, or you might be surprised to see certain people have a positive effect on your mood. Knowing when your mood changes can help you to determine why and help you to make adjustments where necessary.

Keep a journal
 

As an empath, your mind is probably racing with hundreds of thoughts every single day and you might not feel comfortable talking to someone about those thoughts. Keeping our thoughts bottled up can often lead to them being released in negative ways that we don’t always intend. Keeping a journal can be a great outlet for our thoughts and feelings by proving us with somewhere to unload them.

Put boundaries in place
 

One of the biggest problems empaths usually face is feeling unable to say ‘no’. Taking on the emotions of others and feeling great empathy for those around us often makes us more vulnerable when it comes to wanting to make others happy, even if that means being unhappy ourselves. Whether it’s saying no to attending social events with friends or not feeling comfortable, it’s okay to say no. Setting boundaries is a great way to avoid situations where you might feel the need to say yes to something that makes you feel uncomfortable. Instead of putting yourself in a situation where you feel unable to say no, put boundaries in place so others know the expectations.

Make time for self-care
 

Remember what we said about taking time to recharge? Self-care is a great way to recharge and allow yourself that time to yourself. Even if it’s just once a week, dedicate time each week to doing something that you enjoy. Self-care can be as simple as watching your favourite TV show every day at 9pm on a Thursday. Self-care is about doing something that makes you feel good and provides you with that time to switch off.

Today, February 26th is Carpe Diem day. But did you know this does NOT mean seize the day?

The Latin phrase Carpe Diem, was first found in the Roman poet Horace’s Odes. In the 80’s, it regained popularity as a result of the film, Dead Poet’s Society, starring the late, great, Robin Williams. In this iconic movie, Williams plays an inspiring English teacher at an all-boys school. “Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary,” what he is aiming at, is for his students to see the world differently.

Today it has come to take on a whole new vibration. In our modern world, it’s often used with a more aggressive connotation. For example, to inspire us to ‘work till you drop’, a drive for constant actions, a push for extreme commercialism, or even attempts at worldwide fame or internet. It has inspired many to become active, self-reliant individuals, who in pursuit of their own happiness, have become instant-gratification-obsessed consumers or promoting the virtues of chasing a six-figure income status. And, for many, it has meant we have become a society that throws things away simply because - we don’t “have the time” as if time itself is a commodity that justifies waste. We think of objects, containers, resources that can be thrown away. Now whilst money can be a wonderful platform for change, where it brings ruthlessness, greed, inequality or even exploitation, it can become toxic, but it doesn’t need to, however, that’s a whole other story.

In actual fact, Carpe Diem Does NOT Mean ‘Seize the Day’ – its literal translation is “pluck the day,”
‘Plucking’ the day may not have the same ring as ‘seizing’ the day — but is time for a new mantra?
